Mum’s Drum

Our Mum played the drum

(tiddle um, tiddle um)

It drove us quite mad

(ba-dum).

So we told her to stop

(tiddle um, tiddle um)

Or we’d do something bad

(ba-dum).

But still she went on

(tiddle um, tiddle um)

This horrible clamour

(ba-dum).

So WE played the drum

(tiddle um, tiddle um)

Using a hammer

(ba-CRUNCH).

  1. i must confess to not liking this on the first read……However, I went back to it, read it over again and can now admit to really loving it!,i love the dark humour, and was it really a drum you wanted to smash with a hammer?. so very, very clever.
